TCE.info and the war on spam

Like all websites, TCE.info is battling the scourge of spam. We face spam in the blog commentary, and in the forums. It's an ongoing issue, and takes time and effort on my behalf to keep it under control.

In the latest round in the anti-spam offensive, I have changed the user registration procedure in the forums. Now, new users have to enter a number they read from a picture - easy for humans, not so easy for computers.

If you experience any problems with the blog or the forums, please let me know - it might be because of changes such as these that try to save us from spam.
